GREENSTONE GUIDE / EDENVALE PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB
Photo competition exclusively for EPC members
The Greenstone Guide is a fortnightly 10,000 copy Lifestyle publication featuring restaurant and business reviews, information on “what’s on” and other locally interesting items. It is targeted at the greater Greenstone and Modderfontein area and is available from all major shops, gyms and distributed to residential complexes within the target area.
The Greenstone Guide (the Guide) and the Edenvale Photographic Club (EPC) have joined forces to create a photo competition open to EPC members only.
We, through our entries, will provide the Guide with front page images for three consecutive issues (the top 3 images). Winners will have the thrill of seeing your photographs in print and all entrants will have a chance to win one of the many prizes on offer. The top 10 or 15 images will be featured in the body of the publication while some of us will be invited to be interviewed on our photography and a profile published.
Suggested subject matter includes:
Greenstone Mall (the security people are aware of the competition but speak to them first).
Modderfontein Heritage Village (+ the old Town Hall/Casino, Franz Hoenig Haus etc.)
Modderfontein Conservation Park – birds, dams, trees, buildings, rivers etc. (the park is open to the public but I am happy to organise a visit when I can direct members to main points of interest)
